When I sing, trouble can sit right on my shoulder and I don’t even notice
— Sarah Vaughan

I once had a teacher that taught me to be a person - a human being, above all else.  I may be many things at any given time but I will always strive to be the most respectful, honest, hardworking person that I can be.  Through this lens I will pursue my goals as a musician, composer, and educator.

I was raised by two of the best musicians in the world who continue to teach me lessons about life and music every day. At a very young age I studied guitar before switching to drum set and percussion. Thanks to my supportive and loving parents I attended many selective programs and summer workshops focused on Jazz during my high school years. This led me to SUNY Purchase college where I am currently pursuing a Masters in Music. I have had the great honor of studying with Matt Wilson, Kenny Washington and John Riley at Purchase College. Sharing the bandstand with countless first class musicians has taught me priceless lessons about music and inspired me to pursue a career in music.
