I once had a teacher that taught me to be a person, a human being, above all else. I may be many things at any given time but I will always strive to be the most respectful, honest, hardworking person that I can be. Through this lens I will continue my work as a musician, composer, audio and computer technician, and fundraiser.
Background
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, although I never picked up an accent. I was raised by two of the best musicians in the world who continue to teach me lessons about life and music every day. At a very young age I studied guitar before switching to drum set and percussion. Thanks to my supportive and loving mother, I attended many selective programs and summer workshops focused on Jazz during my high school years. This carried over to SUNY Purchase college where I am currently pursuing my Masters in Music. I have played with countless first class musicians and will always pursue music in my life. It is my first love. I have been writing music since before I even understood the theory of what I was writing and integrating computers into my workflow since I could get my hands on one. I have been recording in my own home for many years and have all the equipment necessary to record a live record with expert results. This brings me to my next love, which is technology. In my early teens, I hand built the first computer I ever owned with some guidance by my father. He has been a great source of musical and technological inspiration for me, exposing me to concepts and changing climates in music and in recording tech. This piqued my interest in programming and electronics. Music and technology go hand in hand, which is especially evident today. I started studying Python in high school and have since been studying it and other relevant languages. While I am no Steve Wozniak, I have been able to utilize these tools to create custom solutions and automation which has drastically increased productivity in my work both at home and in the office. I have been tinkering, welding, doing carpentry, and fixing my own cars since as long as I was allowed to hold a screwdriver. I have been repairing broken Iphones for friends and family for several years. I have never paid to have my screen or phone fixed, and never will! I carry this creative attitude with me into all professional settings whether it is musical or administrative work.
